Headquartered in Sugar Land, Texas, CVR Energy is an independent petroleum refiner and marketer of high value transportation fuels in the Midcontinent United States. In addition, a subsidiary of CVR Energy serves as the general partner of CVR Partners and owns the majority of the common units representing limited partner interests of CVR Partners.

CVR Energy and CVR Partners combined generated more than $4 billion in net sales revenue in 2010. CVR Energy’s common stock is listed for trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "CVI."   CVR Partners, LP is traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "UAN."

CVR Energy's petroleum business is composed of four subsidiaries working together to serve our petroleum products customers: Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing, LLC, Coffeyville Resources Crude Transportation, LLC, Coffeyville Resources Pipeline, LLC, and Wynnewood Refining Company.

Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing, LLC, operates a 115,000 barrel per day complex full coking medium sour crude refinery located in Coffeyville, Kan. Crude oil and other unrefined petroleum inputs are converted in this refinery to high value, clean transportation fuels, such as gasoline and diesel fuels. We use advanced processing units capable of thermal coking, catalytic cracking, isomerization, alkylation, and reforming. Coffeyville Resources Refining & Marketing is responsible for marketing all of its refined products.

Of the refinery's approximate 115,000 barrel per day requirement for crude oil, about 75 percent is purchased from international and domestic crude oil suppliers, and the balance is sourced by Coffeyville Resources Crude Transportation, LLC through its 35,000 barrel per day crude oil gathering system serving Kansas, northern Oklahoma, western Missouri and southwestern Nebraska.

CVR Energy added the Wynnewood Refining Company to its family of companies with its purchase of Gary-Williams Energy Corporation (GWEC) on Dec. 15, 2011. The Wynnewood refinery has 70,000 bpd in crude throughput capacity and produces gasoline, diesel fuel, military jet fuel, solvents and asphalt.
