| Description: |
- Develop and implement plans and scope for rotating equipment AFE projects.
- Develop annual and long term budgets, development plans and new projects.
- Provide inspections of Rotating Equipment during planned shutdowns.
- Scope new and replacement rotating equipment components for purchase.
- Direct the work of outside contractors on rotating equipment.

| Education: |
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and engineering software required.

| Experience: |
- Significant experience in a Sr. Rotating Equipment position including field experience in an
oil refinery or gas plant; a minimum of 10 years of rotating equipment experience required.
- Good interpersonal, communication and IT skills to communicate well at levels including
Management, Maintenance and Operations. Ability to establish and maintain positive business
relationships with internal and external customers. Must have the ability to work in a team
environment.
- In depth knowledge of rotor-dynamics and thermodynamic performance of compressors and other
turbo-machinery. Must have the ability to interpret rotor analysis with and without stiffness
and damping of bearings and seals as well as aero excitation; and to calculate compressor
performance.
- Detailed knowledge and practical application experience of lubrication theory, bearing design
and sealing technology; with the proven ability to select, monitor and trouble-shoot lubricants,
bearings and seals. Must have ability to troubleshoot and adapt to resolve new
problems.
