Community...at CVR Energy we understand that the true meaning of community is defined by relationships, involvement and caring.

Our corporate philosophy about community involvement is based in the belief that our employees and their families are best able to determine the needs of their communities.

Our employees are encouraged and supported in their efforts to make a difference based on their personal involvement. We are proud of the hundreds of employees who reach into their own pockets and devote their personal time to the betterment and advancement of their communities.

Those efforts represent a myriad of interests, from bringing holiday cheer to families in need, to community drives for charity, involvement in chambers of commerce, volunteering in classrooms and in school activities, as well as volunteering at hospitals and supporting local events.

One example of our community involvement is our continued corporate sponsorship of the Interstate Fair and Rodeo in Coffeyville-an event important to our employees as well as thousands of people in the Midwest. Over the years, the Company and its employees have donated thousands of dollars, material goods, and special services to continually upgrade the arena and sponsor rodeo events.

We strongly believe that one of our most important contributions is our good neighbor policy and the participation of our employees in community events and activities, not just in Coffeyville, but in the many communities and neighborhoods in which our facilities are located.
